David Razavi is a composer and multi-instrumentalist who specializes in writing music for all types of media such as film, TV, and video games. He has written music for various projects such as short films, documentaries, animatics, and video games, in addition to writing and arranging songs. All of his music is composed, sequenced, and recorded at his workspace: ClockTownStudios.
He began his musical journey in elemenary school where he first picked up the trumpet. Since then, David has learned to play several additional instuments guitar, bass, drums, and piano, while also learning violin and santoor. His passion for composition began shortly after, being inspired by listening to countless film and video game scores, and finally decided to formally study film composition. He is now a graduate of California State University, Northridge with a Bachelor of Music in Commerical and Media Writing.
David has experience writing in many different styles and strives to create compositions and recordings of high quality. He finds inspiration from many legendary film composers as well as classical and operatic music. He is very comfortable with technology and is always learning about new equipment and techniques for his composing software.
